A charming small town of approximately 10,000, Saline is situated just 10 minutes south
of Ann Arbor and 45 minutes west of Detroit, Michigan. Saline was founded by Orange Risdon in 1823, incorporated as a city in 1931, and has enjoyed steady growth as an active community for more than 160 years. Saline also boasts an excellent school system and dynamic elected and employed city staff. But Saline's greatest asset is the wonderful people who choose to live here, work her and play here. Fairy February... a Downtown Treasure Hunt! SDMA is pleased to be collaborating with the 212 Arts Center to make some fun this February! Twelve artists at the 212 Arts Center created amazing, whimsical fairy doors which will be secreted around the downtown Saline shopping district. We hope that visitors will enjoy searching for the fairy doors while also engaging with our downtown businesses! Here are quick the details: Fairy February… 12 locations Downtown Saline! To participate, pick up a “playing card” at a downtown location or download HERE Visit Downtown Saline to find the fairy doors and collect stamps on your playing card.
